Crash
Crash is our most popular game with the goalkeepers and lets them pit their wit against the other goalkeepers at the session. We finish most goalkeeper training sessions with this game as it put the goalkeepers into real game scenarios and at match speed.
Crash is when we have 2 goals face to face 12-15 yards apart and have a goalkeeper in each goal. Goalkeeper 1 will start by taking a shot from his goal line either by kicking or throwing the ball, goalkeeper 2 then has to get into position and make the save, if succesful they then shoot back as soon as they like.
The Aim
The aim of the game is to stay in goal the longest, by either saving the shots or scoring in your opponent's goal. You come out of goal if you miss the target when shooting or by letting a goal in.
There are lots of variations to Crash and we are sure you will see the benefits during our goalkeeper training sessions. By using this game we feel it lets all the work done by the goalkeeper in the day be used in the one game.
